Launching a fintech product here

The first question anyone has about a finance tool is who holds the money and who sees the data. Answer both on the page. Naming your payment processor, your banking partner, or the aggregator behind your account connections does more for conversion than any feature list, because it tells a visitor which regulated entity is standing behind the thing they are about to connect their bank to.

Small and specific beats broad here. Invoicing for freelancers in one country, expense tracking for one accounting stack, subscription analytics for one payment processor. Narrow products get adopted because the setup actually finishes, and the ones that promise to replace an entire finance stack rarely get past the first import.

If money moves through your product at any point, licensing questions follow. Say whether you are a regulated entity, working under someone else’s licence, or sitting entirely outside the flow of funds. Founders in this space know the difference and read for it, and being straight about it costs nothing when the answer is the boring one.

What a strong fintech listing includes

  • The processor, bank, or data provider behind the product, named
  • Which countries and currencies it actually supports today
  • Whether you touch funds or only data
  • Security specifics rather than a padlock icon

Questions founders ask about Fintech

Can I list a crypto product here?

Wallets, analytics, and infrastructure usually belong in Web3. Exchanges and other regulated financial services need prior approval under section 7.1 of our Terms before they can be listed.

My product is only available in one country. Is it worth listing?

Yes, and it is worth saying so in the first line. A visitor from the wrong country closing the tab immediately is a better outcome than one who signs up, finishes onboarding, and then discovers it does not support their bank.
