We record your Domain Rating before any work starts. That baseline never moves. If 45 days pass without the target being reached, the refund is the share of the distance we did not cover.
Measured on Ahrefs DR because that is a number both sides can check independently, in a free tool, on any day of the engagement. The Moz DA figures beside each package are the approximate equivalent for orientation and are not what the refund is computed from.

›How is the guarantee actually measured?
On Ahrefs Domain Rating, recorded before any work starts and checked daily after. DR is a number both sides can verify independently in a free tool, which is why the promise is written against it rather than against a metric only we can see.
›What exactly do I get back if you miss the target?
The share of the price we did not earn: refund = price × (1 − (DR now − DR at start) ÷ (target DR − DR at start)). A site starting at DR 0 that reaches DR 20 against a DR 30 target gets a third back. A site whose DR did not move at all gets everything back.
›What does a higher DR actually get me?
Outreach that gets answered - link builders, guest-post editors, PR contacts and affiliate managers all filter by DR, so the same email performs differently at DR 8 and DR 40. Access to placements that publish a minimum DR in their contributor guidelines. A stronger backlink profile carrying weight through your internal links.
