Explain the product without the chain first. Most people browsing here are builders who have watched a lot of projects disappear, and a description that opens with the protocol rather than the problem gets skipped. If the honest answer is that being on-chain is what makes it work, say why in one sentence, and if the answer is that it did not need a chain, that is worth knowing before you launch.
Anything that touches funds attracts scrutiny it would not get elsewhere, and rightly. Audits, contract addresses, and whether the code is verifiable are the specifics that separate a project from a landing page. Being pre-audit is fine when you say so; being quiet about it is what reads as a warning sign.
Some of this category sits inside our prohibited list. Exchanges and other regulated financial services need prior approval under section 7.1 of the Terms, and anything shaped like a get-rich-quick scheme is removed in review. Infrastructure, developer tooling, wallets, and analytics are the parts of web3 that list without friction.
No. Token launches, presales, and anything structured as an investment offer fall outside what this site lists. Tools, infrastructure, and applications built on a chain are welcome.
Because the audience here is mostly SaaS and AI builders, and fewer web3 projects submit. A listing still gets you an indexed page and a permanent link, but expect less browsing traffic than the AI or SaaS categories get.
