Launching a SaaS product here

This category holds everything from invoicing to internal dashboards, so nobody scanning it knows what your product does until the tagline says. Name the buyer. "Scheduling for dental clinics" gets clicked. "The modern platform for teams" does not, because half the grid already says a version of it and the visitor has learned to skip that shape of sentence.

A lot of products land here before they have a price. Fixing that before you submit is worth the hour, because price is the first thing a founder browsing this category looks for and "contact us" turns a curious visitor into a closed tab. If you genuinely have not decided, publish a starting number and revise it later. Nobody is holding you to it.

The listing outlives the launch day. It sits on a domain with its own authority and tends to rank for your product name, so it turns up when a prospect searches you before a call. Write the description for that person rather than for a keyword tool.

What a strong SaaS listing includes

  • A tagline naming the buyer, not the technology stack
  • A price, or at minimum a starting price
  • A screenshot of the product doing the job, not a hero illustration
  • The problem written in the words a customer would use out loud

Questions founders ask about SaaS & B2B

What belongs in SaaS rather than Productivity?

SaaS here means a business buys it, usually for more than one person. Productivity means an individual buys it for themselves. A shared support inbox is SaaS. A personal notes app is Productivity. When both fit, pick the one your paying customer would browse.

Can I list a product that is still in beta?

Yes, as long as a visitor can sign up and use it. A waitlist page can be listed but converts badly, because someone who clicks through and hits an email field has learned nothing about what you built.

Does a listing here help my SEO?

It gives you a page on a domain with real authority that ranks for your product name. Whether the link itself passes authority depends on how you list: badge-verified and paid listings are dofollow once approved, free listings without the badge are nofollow. The pricing page spells out both paths.
