Marketers buy against a number. Whichever one you move, say it early and say it in units: replies per hundred emails, hours saved per report, keywords tracked per dollar. Vague upside is the default in this category, so a specific claim stands out simply by being falsifiable.
This is also the most sceptical audience on the site, because they have run the playbook you are running. Screenshots of a dashboard with obviously fake numbers get noticed instantly. Real data from your own account, even when the numbers are small, is more persuasive than an invented chart with a hockey stick in it.
If your tool touches other platforms, be exact about how. Marketers have been burned by tools that broke when an API changed or that quietly used an approach a platform prohibits. Naming the official integrations you use, and what happens when a connection drops, removes the question before it is asked.
Scheduling and publishing through official APIs is normal. Tools built to work around a platform’s own terms, such as scrapers or engagement bots, fall under the prohibited list in our Terms and get removed in review.
A productised service with a fixed scope and a public price can work as a listing. An agency landing page that ends in a discovery call is a harder sell here, since most of the audience is shopping for something they can start using the same day.
Partly, and it is easier to say so than to pretend otherwise. Competing tools get listed here on the same terms as everything else, and our comparison pages name the places that beat us. Ranking is by points from votes, not by whether you compete with us.
