About Zeptap
Zeptap is a Mac app that lets AI agents like Claude Code, Codex and Cursor see, tap, swipe and type on your real iPhone. No Xcode, no Developer Mode, no Apple developer account, nothing installed on the phone.
What people use it for:
- App testing on a real device: your coding agent opens the iOS app you are building, walks through flows and reports what it sees.
- Social and messaging work: prepare Instagram Stories and TikTok drafts, reply to comments and customer messages, and post natively from the apps.
- Multi-app tasks: move an approved video and caption from WhatsApp into Instagram, or finish errands that span several apps.
Connect in one click from Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex or Cursor, or point any MCP client at the local server. Or use the built-in chat with your own Claude or ChatGPT plan; Zeptap sells no AI credits. Watch the agent work from your Mac, ask it to pause before posting, sending or paying, and run up to 5 iPhones at once.
Pricing: $25/month, or a one-time lifetime license. Each license covers 3 Macs.
What Zeptap does
Zeptap lets AI agents use a real iPhone through its apps, interacting with the screen by tapping, swiping, and typing. It is designed to let agents handle tasks in apps where information or actions are available through the phone interface, without relying on scraping or app APIs. The product runs as a Mac app and connects an iPhone to agents, including those that use MCP, so they can operate the phone the way a person does.
A user installs Zeptap on a Mac, connects an iPhone over USB, and pairs it over Bluetooth with setup guidance from the app. The Mac reads the iPhone screen over USB, while taps, swipes, and typing are sent through Bluetooth using AssistiveTouch. Agents interact through a local MCP server, with each step returned as a screenshot. Users can chat in Zeptap or connect an agent such as Claude Code, Codex, or another MCP client.
Zeptap is for people who want their AI agents to perform tasks in apps on their own iPhone. The page describes uses across social media, research, messaging, settings, and other App Store apps. It is aimed at Mac and iPhone users who want to connect agents without installing a helper app on the phone, enabling developer mode, or using Xcode. The page also offers a plan for teams running several accounts.
