Peerlist alternatives in 2026

Peerlist Launchpad is free, but it wants a verified personal profile and its audience is mostly people in tech. If your product, your team or your buyers do not fit that, these launch sites are worth a look. Facts as of October 2026.

What Peerlist is

Peerlist calls itself a professional network for builders to show and tell. People keep a profile and a portfolio there, and it adds a feed and a jobs board. It was founded in 2021 in Pune.

Its Launchpad is a weekly product launch. The launch window opens every Monday and runs for a week. Projects launch from a verified personal profile and rank on a mix of upvotes, comments, views, link visits and traction. The top three get a badge and a feature in the weekly email and on social.

Launching is free as of October 2026. A Featured Launch, one day at the top of its Scroll feed, starts at $29.

Why founders look for alternatives

  • It needs a verified personal profile. Only individual profiles may launch, and SEO marketing agencies are not allowed. A company account cannot launch on its own.
  • The audience is mostly tech. Its own ad page says 58% of its audience are software engineers. That is a good crowd for developer tools and a thin one for a product sold to restaurants or sales teams.
  • Only the top five get a link. Its help pages say only the top five projects of the week are awarded a backlink.
  • The project must be finished. Launchpad asks for a project that is 100% complete, so a waitlist or an early beta does not qualify.

The alternatives

Nine launch sites and communities, plus SaaSCity, measured on the same points: format, free route and cheapest paid option.

Ordered by Ahrefs Domain Rating from our directory dataset, highest first, SaaSCity included. DR measures the strength of the site’s own domain. It says nothing about how many customers a launch brings.

10.SaaSCity

DR 65

Free:
Yes. Launches on the first Monday with one of 15 weekly free slots open
Paid:
Quick Pass $19.99, skips the queue
Best for:
SaaS and AI tools that want a permanent page and a dated launch

Where SaaSCity fits

SaaSCity lists the product itself, on a city map and a DR 65 domain, so a company can launch without a verified personal profile. A free launch takes the first Monday with one of 15 free slots open, or $19.99 skips the queue. It has no profile network or feed, so if a public builder profile is what you want, Peerlist, Indie Hackers or Startup Fame fit better. Peerlist alternatives FAQ

Is Peerlist Launchpad free?
Yes. As of October 2026 launching is free with a verified personal profile. A Featured Launch, one day at the top of the Scroll feed, starts at $29.
Can a company launch on Peerlist?
Its Launchpad guidelines say only individual profiles may launch, and SEO marketing agencies are not allowed. Product Hunt also bans company accounts. Directories such as Startup Fame and SaaSCity list the product itself.
Which alternative is closest for developer tools?
DevHunt runs a weekly launch for developer tools only, with votes from developers who sign in with GitHub or Google. Show HN on Hacker News is free and suits tools people can try right away.
Which alternative gives me a builder profile?
Indie Hackers has profiles, a products database and a build-in-public board. Startup Fame gives you one profile page that lists all your startups.
Why is SaaSCity not first on this list?
The list is ordered by Domain Rating from our directory dataset, and SaaSCity goes where its DR puts it, like every other row.

Prices, queues and rules are as of October 2026 and were read on each platform’s own site. They change often, so check the platform before you pay. DR figures come from our directory dataset (Ahrefs Domain Rating) and can move a few points between checks.
