What it optimizes for is sensible: a claim, a source, a stat, a quote and a FAQ per piece, which is roughly what an answer engine wants to extract.

Two settings matter more than the score. Draft mode sends articles to your CMS unpublished so you can edit before anything goes live. Image modes, added in August 2026, let you choose your own photos only (up to 50), a hybrid of your photos and AI fill, AI only, or none. For a store, your own photos is the mode to pick. You switch network participation on. Your published articles can then host links to other users' sites, and your site becomes eligible to receive links inside theirs. You set a niche and a minimum Domain Rating for hosts, so links only arrive from domains above your floor. The page is explicit that it is not a reciprocal exchange: the site that links to you is never the site you link out to, and there are no A-to-B swaps or triangles. A credit system sits in the middle. Hosting a partner link earns credits, receiving a link spends them, and one credit equals one point of the host's Domain Rating, so a DR 40 host costs 40 credits. There is a daily spend cap and a paid Backlink Booster for extra credits.

The plan caps are the part to read twice. Essential includes up to 3 links a month, which Sorank values at over $400, and Pro up to 8, valued at over $1,000. The site talks about a network of thousands of sites and more than three thousand daily users. A large pool is what makes niche matching possible, but your allotment is still 3 or 8 placements a month.

Our view, offered without drama: contextual one-way links from relevant sites, inside real articles with varied anchors, are the kind of link that has held up. A pool where every host is also a customer is a closed system, and "fully aligned with Google's guidelines" is the company's position rather than a certification. The audit, and the fixes it makes on its own

The GEO / SEO Audit crawls every page and ties each issue to a URL and a cause: status codes, indexation, orphan pages, thin content-to-code ratios, broken links, Core Web Vitals, mobile usability and schema. That part is ordinary, in the good sense. The unusual part is the second step. Sorank says an agent then rewrites weak titles and meta descriptions, fills missing alt text and applies the changes within Google's recommendations, with optional human review. The site's counter says 15,000 issues fixed so far.

Automatic edits to a production site deserve a policy. On a WordPress blog with a hundred posts, letting the agent rewrite metas is low risk and saves an afternoon. On a Shopify store with carefully written product titles, put the fixes behind review. Both options exist.

GEO: seeing what the models say about you

Sorank started life as this feature, and it shows. Trial. The pricing page says 3 days free, then $99 a month, card required. Older material mentioned five days; treat three as current.

Guarantee. "If your traffic metrics don't improve in 90 days, you get your money back" appears on the homepage and pricing page. The public FAQ does not define which metric counts: impressions, clicks, sessions or AI citations. Read the refund policy at checkout and ask support which one they measure, because that sentence is the safety net the pitch rests on.

Currency. The English site bills in US dollars while the EU-language pages say €99. Same number, different symbol, so check your invoice if you are in the EU. Third-party directories still list older prices; the pricing URL is the source of truth.

Per site. One account can hold many sites, and each is its own subscription because the audits, article engine, link credits and prompt tracking all run against one domain. Sorank's FAQ argues the first site pays for the others within three to six months. Whether that holds depends on your margins, but the mechanics are clear.

The agency comparison is marketing, but the frame is fair. A retainer buys judgment from a person; Sorank buys throughput from a machine. If what you lacked was throughput, the price gap is real.

What we liked

• The bundle is coherent. Prompt research feeds keywords, keywords feed articles, articles host and earn links, the audit keeps the site healthy, and the dashboard shows all of it.
• Draft mode and your-photos-only mode. Both keep human control without giving up the automation. Many autopilot tools skip them.
• The link network is described honestly. Niche, Domain Rating floor, credits priced by authority, never the same partner both ways, every placement listed with its anchor. More detail than most link products publish.
• Per-model citation counts. Knowing that Perplexity cites you and Gemini does not is actionable. A blended score is not.
• Content stays yours, and nine languages ship with in-language linking. Non-English markets are usually an afterthought in this category.

What to keep in mind

• Read the drafts. The output is good average content with sources. For a differentiated brand or a regulated industry, keep draft mode on and edit. "Zero manual SEO work" is the aspiration, not the recommended setting.
• Vendor numbers are vendor numbers. User counts, visitor totals, issues fixed, the claim that AI traffic converts two to three times better than Google, and the case-study curves are the company's figures. The verifiable parts are the plan grid, the trial, the refund promise and what your own Search Console shows after three months.
• Time to value is months, by their own account. First AI citations around week three, Google traffic in two to three months, compounding around month six. Budget for a quarter.
• Per-site billing adds up. Three client sites on Essential is $297 a month. Still under one retainer, but do the sum.
• Auto-fix needs a policy. Decide what the agent may change unattended before you connect a store.
• Small marketing inconsistencies exist. A 2,000-plus network on one page and 3,000-plus on another, a 20-articles FAQ answer that ignores the 60-article Pro plan, dollars and euros on the same price. None of it changes what you get, but confirm details in-app.
• The reputation sample is small. Trustpilot shows roughly 20 reviews at 4.6 out of 5, mostly organic, with no invited reviews in the snapshot we saw. Positive, but thin. G2 has one review.

How to test it in three days

1. Connect a real property and Search Console. The audit and the prompt baseline only mean something on a live domain.
2. Set draft mode and let the planner generate two or three articles. Export one, run it through your own checker, and edit it as you would a freelancer's draft. Time the edit. That is your real monthly workload.

If steps two and three come back clean, the product does what the homepage says. If step two takes an hour per article, you are buying a first-draft engine, which can still be worth $99 but is a different purchase.

Content, one-way links with a Domain Rating floor, technical fixes and per-model AI-citation tracking under one per-site fee is a specific offer, and the draft gate, the image modes and the ownership terms let you run it with as much or as little supervision as your brand needs. The company is a registered Hungarian entity with a named director, the pricing and trial terms are plainly stated, and the link mechanics are documented in more detail than the category average.

The trade-offs are the ones that come with autopilot: articles that need an editor's pass to sound like you, a closed network you should inspect placement by placement, outcome claims that are the vendor's until your own Search Console agrees, and a bill that multiplies by domain. Sorank states most of those limits on its own pages, which is the main reason we are comfortable recommending a trial.

Best for a single-site founder, a store on Shopify, or a small agency that wants the machine to run and will read what it writes. Less suited to teams that only want analytics, or sites where nothing can publish without a review.
