The short answer
As of October 2026, listing a tool on Toolify.ai costs $99 one-time, with no queue and publication within 48 hours, and there is no free submission. On three of the four listings we checked, the Open site button links straight to the product (the fourth points to an affiliate URL), with rel="dofollow", which search engines read as a normal followed link. Toolify reviews each tool by hand and refunds the fee if it does not approve it. Its traffic figures, 5.1M+ monthly visits among them, are its own.

What Toolify.ai is
Toolify.ai is a directory of AI tools and GPTs published in ten languages. Its homepage counts 30,959 AIs in 459 categories and says the tools list and GPT store are "updated daily by ChatGPT". Each listing page has tabs for product information, reviews, traffic analytics, an embed badge and alternatives, plus a translated copy in every language.
Its pitch to makers is traffic and links. The submit page claims 8M+ page views, 5.1M+ monthly visits and 700K+ subscribers, with 55% desktop users and an average 03:23 on site. Those are Toolify's figures, and we did not verify them.
Listings are only part of the business. Toolify also sells pay-per-click ads, link inserts and guest posts, and by email it offers link exchanges or a YouTube video or X post about your tool. It does not name the company behind it on its policy pages; the contact for all of it is [email protected].
Is Toolify dofollow?
Yes. On October 7, 2026, the Open site button on Toolify listings linked to the product with rel="dofollow", straight to its site on three of the four we checked. That is not a standard rel value, so search engines ignore it and treat the link as followed. Listing pages have no robots meta tag and are canonical to themselves.
We checked QuizTell, added that day, plus QuizBot, ML.ai and Octane AI. On all four, the Open site button carries rel="dofollow" in the server HTML, before any script runs. Three point to the product's own site with ?utm_source=toolify; Octane AI's points to an affiliate URL instead.
Not every link on a listing is followed. Links inside the description, such as QuizTell's contact, about and login pages, carry rel="nofollow", and so do the Open site buttons on the alternative tools further down the page.
Toolify promises "no less than 6 quality dofollow links". We counted two on the English listing. The German copy at toolify.ai/de/tool/quiztell is a separate, self-canonical page with the same followed button, so the language versions add more; we did not count all six.

How much does Toolify cost?
Prices as printed on Toolify's submit, GPT, advertising and guest post pages on October 7, 2026. Listings are one-time fees; ad clicks come in packs.
Toolify places ads automatically and says it cannot guarantee the quality of the clicks; the more balance you hold, the higher your ads sit. Its business page also offers link exchanges and dofollow links on its SEO pages, priced by email.
How to submit to Toolify
The form at toolify.ai/submit has three required choices and a checkout.
- Enter the name and URL Both are required. The FAQ asks you to make sure the tool URL is included when you pay the listing fee.
- Choose who writes the listing "Generated by Toolify" has Toolify AI write the content and the translations. "Do it myself" lets you supply the text, in English only, and Toolify AI translates it.
- Pay $99 The total reads $99 with "No queue, listed within 48 hours". A GPT goes through the separate Submit GPT form for $29.
- Wait for the manual review Toolify reviews every tool by hand. A tool that does not use AI or is too explicit with adult content is not approved, and the fee is refunded in full.
- Track it and add the badge Your submission history sits in the User Center, and the Update AI page handles later edits. Each listing has an embed badge you can put on your site.

Where SaaSCity fits next to Toolify
SaaSCity, which we run, lists AI tools in its own AI category. The free route takes a Monday launch with one of 15 slots a week, and the link turns dofollow once our badge is on your homepage; $19.99 skips the queue and the badge after a human review and goes live within 24 hours. We have none of Toolify's ad inventory, so use SaaSCity next to a Toolify listing rather than instead of it. To hand off the rest of the list, our submission service covers 50 directories from $49.
Toolify's listing rules
Toolify publishes few rules. These come from its submit and advertising FAQs, as of October 2026.
It has to use AI
Not using AI is one of the two common rejection reasons its FAQ names.
No explicit adult content
A tool that is too explicit with adult content is the other common rejection its FAQ names.
No traffic promise
The FAQ says a listing cannot guarantee sales or traffic. Paid ads guarantee a number of clicks, not their quality.
Refund rules
A tool that is not published gets a full, automatic refund. Featured slots and sponsorships are refunded only if they have not started.
Toolify review: is it worth $99?
For an AI tool that wants a fast, permanent listing with a followed link, yes. It is one of the more predictable buys in the category. You pay $99 and the tool goes live within 48 hours, or the fee comes back if Toolify rejects it. Every listing we checked had a followed Open site link, in both language versions we opened.
Traffic is the weaker half. Toolify's own FAQ says it cannot guarantee clicks from a listing, and with more than 30,000 AIs in the catalog a new tool has to compete for attention once it leaves Just launched. If you need visitors, the ad packs at $0.10 to $0.20 a click are the honest offer, though Toolify does not vouch for the quality of those clicks.
Weigh the kind of link, too. Toolify sells link inserts and guest posts and offers dofollow links on its SEO pages by email, so a followed link from it is a product it sells rather than an editorial vote. Count it as one link among many, and do not buy the extras expecting rankings.
Good fit
- AI tools that want a followed link within 48 hours
- Makers who want a listing in ten languages without writing it
- GPT builders, at $29 per GPT
- Paid click campaigns at $0.10 to $0.20 a click
Skip it if
- You need a free listing
- Your product does not use AI
- You expect traffic from the listing alone
