There's An AI For That review for AI tool makers
TAAFT is the largest AI tools catalog by its own account, and getting your own tool onto it costs money, with one narrow exception. We checked its prices, its terms and two live listings on October 7, 2026.

The short answer
As of October 2026, There's An AI For That (TAAFT) charges a one-time $49 for a basic listing or $437 for a listing plus a guaranteed newsletter feature, sent to 2.5M+ subscribers by its count. The only free route is a monthly thread on X, where TAAFT picks one tool to list free. On the listings we checked, the Use tool button links straight to the product with no rel attribute, so the link is followed. Staff review each tool in 1 to 2 days on average and refund the fee if they do not publish it.

What There's An AI For That is
There's An AI For That, usually shortened to TAAFT, is a catalog of AI tools organized by the task each one does. Its About page says staff review every listing and that the index maps 50,000+ tools to 11,000+ tasks. Andrei Nedelcu launched it in December 2022, and There's An AI For That SRL in Bucharest runs it with a team of 30+ people.
The audience numbers are its own: 5M+ visitors a month, 90M+ since launch and a daily newsletter with 2.5M+ subscribers, mostly in the United States, Europe and India. We did not verify them.
A listing is a permanent page with tabs for pricing, alternatives, reviews and Q&A, plus a timestamped spot in the Just released feed on launch day. Listings never expire, and you can relaunch after an upgrade.
Is There's An AI For That dofollow?
Yes. On October 7, 2026, the Use tool button on TAAFT listings linked straight to the product's site with no rel attribute, so search engines treat it as a followed link. The listing pages carry no robots meta tag and are canonical to themselves.
We checked two tools from the Just released feed: ApexApi and Vidleaf, which went live that morning. On both, every link to the product (the Use tool button, the screenshot and the sticky header button) points directly at its domain with no nofollow, ugc or sponsored value. The Vidleaf anchors are the same in the server HTML, before any script runs.
Most product links on TAAFT carry its tracking, ?ref=taaft&utm_source=taaft&utm_medium=referral; ApexApi's carries the maker's own UTM tags instead. Neither link passes through a TAAFT redirect.
We could not tell which plan either tool bought or find a free pick from the X thread to compare. The launch page never mentions link attributes: the $49 and $437 plans differ in traffic and the newsletter spot. Ad slots are different: the homepage Spotlight is marked rel="sponsored nofollow" and points to the TAAFT listing, not the product.

How much does There's An AI For That cost?
Two standard plans, both one-time fees, as printed on TAAFT's launch page on October 7, 2026.
The PPC bonus is ad credit and only applies if your tool has not appeared on any other platform before its TAAFT launch. The form also sells several launches at once (agencies can buy up to 1,000), lets you schedule a date and accepts prepaid codes. Newsletter and site sponsorships are separate, with rates on request.

How to submit to There's An AI For That
The form is at theresanaiforthat.com/launch/ (the old /submit/ address redirects there). It asks for very little, because TAAFT builds the listing from your URL.
- Sign in Paying needs a free TAAFT account (Google, Apple or email). Edit access to your tool page comes after you verify your email.
- Paste the tool URL It is the only required field. The form accepts AI tools, MCPs, GPTs and AI influencers (non-human); for an MCP server, see where else to list one.
- Set a date if you want one Tick "I want to schedule my launch date" to pick a date and time zone. Without one, the tool goes live after review, 1 to 2 days on average.
- Choose a plan and pay Pick Low traffic ($49) or Maximum Exposure ($437) and the number of launches, then pay through Stripe. A prepaid code or a launch credit you already own skips payment.
- Wait for the review email Staff check functionality, claims, pricing clarity, safety and duplicates. You get an email when the tool goes live and a full refund if it is not published.
SaaSCity for AI launches
SaaSCity, which we run, has an AI category and costs far less than the big AI catalogs. A free listing takes a Monday launch with one of 15 slots a week, and its link turns dofollow once our badge is on your homepage; $19.99 skips the queue and the badge and goes live within 24 hours of a human review. It is a SaaS and AI launch directory on a DR 66 domain without TAAFT's reach or newsletter, so list on both, after your TAAFT launch if you want its PPC bonus.
What TAAFT accepts and rejects
From its terms (last updated March 19, 2026), as of October 2026.
AI has to be the point
Listed tools must use AI in a significant and obvious way. A general app with one AI feature is a weak fit.
No low-quality or deceptive tools
TAAFT rejects low-quality, manipulative, illegal or deceptive tools and anything carrying malware.
Reply to users within 48 hours
Its quality standards require user-friendly contact channels and replies to user inquiries and complaints within 48 hours.
No refund after publication
Once the tool is live the fee stays paid. If the listing is approved but the newsletter feature is not, only the newsletter part is refunded.
There's An AI For That review: is it worth it?
For an AI tool with a clear use case, the $49 plan is good value: a permanent, indexable listing with a followed link on one of the most visited AI catalogs, reviewed within days and refunded if you are turned down. The click estimates are modest (50 to 100 in the first week, by TAAFT's own numbers), so count on the link and long-tail search traffic more than on launch-day visitors.
The $437 plan is a bet on one newsletter send. It suits consumer tools people can try in a minute; a B2B product with a sales cycle will struggle to earn it back. Read the fine print first: the bonus needs a TAAFT-first launch, and the newsletter part can be declined while the listing goes live.
Skip TAAFT if AI is a side feature of your product. Its readers search by task, so a general SaaS will not match what they are looking for. And the free X thread is a lottery with one winner a month.
Good fit
- AI tools and MCP servers people can try right away
- A followed link from a large AI catalog for $49
- Consumer AI apps that suit a newsletter audience
- Teams that ship big updates and will relaunch
Skip it if
- AI is a side feature of your product
- You need a free listing
- Your buyers are enterprises with long sales cycles
