Sponsored post. For this EveryGen AI review, product details were checked on October 6, 2026 against everygen-ai.com: the homepage, the EveryGen Studio, pricing, MCP, Skills and CLI pages, and the terms, privacy and refund policies last updated on September 20, 2026. Screenshots were captured from the live site in Google Chrome. The opinions and the credit math are ours.

Quick answer: EveryGen AI is an AI video and image studio from EveryGen LLC, a US company. Its headline feature, EveryGen Studio, works as an AI director: give it a one-line idea or a script and it writes the story, designs recurring characters, plans the shots and assembles a finished 15 to 180 second film with dialogue, narration, music and effects. The same credits run 20+ models such as Seedance 2.5, Veo 3.1 and GPT Image 2.5. Plans start at $19 a month.

EveryGen AI homepage in dark mode with the headline AI Video and Image Generator, a prompt box with EveryGen Studio, AI Video and AI Image tabs, and a sidebar listing EveryGen Studio, Recreate a Short and AI Motion Graphics

Most AI video generators give you a few seconds of footage per prompt. That is fine for b-roll. For a one-minute story it means writing every prompt yourself, tracking which clip goes where, and hoping the fox in shot six still looks and sounds like the fox in shot one.

EveryGen AI is built around that problem. Studio plans the film before it spends credits, keeps a reference look and a fixed voice for each character, and lets you change a single moment by chatting with the director.

For this review I read every public product and policy page, opened the Studio composer and the pricing tabs in Chrome, and did the credit math. I did not run paid generations, so output quality and render times are for your own first test. Where a number is EveryGen's own estimate, I say so.

Key takeaways

  • EveryGen Studio plans and assembles complete films of 15 to 180 seconds in 16:9 or 9:16, with dialogue, narration, music and effects.
  • Each character keeps a reference look and a fixed voice across every shot.
  • Studio quotes before paid work, and you choose whether to confirm every charge, only charges above 300 credits, or none.
  • One credit balance covers 20+ models, including Seedance 2.5, Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0 Motion Control and GPT Image 2.5.
  • Plans cost $19 to $99 a month, annual plans start at $99 a year, and credit packs start at $39 and last 365 days.
  • An official MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code create media after you approve a quote.

Which EveryGen is this review about?

This review covers EveryGen AI at everygen-ai.com, operated by EveryGen LLC. Search for "Everygen" and most results point to a different company: Everygen at everygen.ai, which is the renamed Viewmax.

What is EveryGen AI?

EveryGen AI is a web studio for AI video and images, run by EveryGen LLC, that puts leading models from other companies in one workspace. It does not claim to train those models. Its own layer is EveryGen Studio, the director that plans and assembles whole films, plus the tools, credits and integrations around it.

The About page names the legal entity, country and support address, but no founders or founding date. It also warns that AI output can get character continuity, spoken lines, product appearance and facts wrong, and asks users to review them. I took that candor as a good sign.

How does EveryGen Studio work?

EveryGen Studio turns a brief into a finished film in four steps: you describe the idea, the director plans the story and shots, it generates and assembles the media, and you refine the result in chat. Projects run from 15 to 180 seconds, all in one conversation.

  1. Describe the idea in one line, or attach a script, product photos, characters, video or audio. Pick 16:9 or 9:16, and put a target length in the brief if you have one.
  2. The director writes the story, designs the characters and lays out the shots.
  3. Shots, voices, music and sound effects are generated and assembled into one film, with each step shown as it happens.
  4. Refine in chat, or mark a moment and an area in the video to change only that part.

EveryGen Studio How it works section with four cards: Describe your idea, Plan the scenes, Watch it produce and Refine by chatting

Because every EveryGen Studio project starts with a story and a shot list you can edit in plain language, credits go into footage you have already agreed on. With a single-clip tool, the trial and error happens on your credit balance.

The confirmation modes

Next to the prompt box sit a model menu with GPT 6.1 and Grok 4.6 (the language models that do the planning), the aspect ratio, and a confirmation menu with three modes. Ask every time confirms each paid generation, Ask for large costs confirms only charges above 300 credits, and Never ask charges without asking. The setting covers images, video, speech, music and sound effects. I would keep Ask every time for the first few projects and switch once you know what a typical film costs.

Recurring characters and revisions

Studio gives each character a reference look and a fixed voice and reuses both in every shot, which is aimed at the character drift that trips up many AI stories. The two sample films, "A Little Fox's Brave Step" and "The First Bike Ride", run one minute each with the same small cast throughout. They are first-party examples, so test with your own characters. The five story templates in the gallery are labeled as style references, and their covers are not finished films.

EveryGen Studio Watch a complete story section with two one-minute sample films, A Little Fox's Brave Step and The First Bike Ride

To revise, keep chatting or mark a moment and an area in the video. The director shows what will change and keeps earlier versions so you can compare them. If credits run out midway, progress is saved until you top up.

Which EveryGen tool should you use?

Studio fits projects that need several shots, a consistent cast and a soundtrack. For a single shot, the dedicated generators cost less per attempt and let you choose the model.

Which AI models does EveryGen AI include?

EveryGen AI lists more than 20 video and image models behind one credit balance. On October 6, 2026 the homepage tagged Veo 3.1 Fast at 50% off and Nano Banana 2 at 60% off. Those are promotions, so check live prices before you budget around them.

TypeModels listed
VideoSeedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0, Veo 3.1 Fast, Veo 3.1 Quality, Kling 3.0 Motion Control, Kling 2.6, Wan 3 (image to video, reference to video and video edit), Gemini Omni, Grok Imagine Video, Runway
ImageNano Banana 2, GPT Image 2.5, GPT Image 2, Wan 2.7 Image Pro, Seedream 5.0, Grok Imagine Image

Seedance 2.5 adds native audio and scenes of up to 30 seconds, and Studio reaches 180 seconds by assembling many shots. GPT Image 2.5 takes up to 16 reference images. Pro and Ultra add Quality Mode, a 4K upgrade, private generation and Lip Sync. If you are tired of a new subscription for every new model (see our piece on AI model fatigue), one balance across vendors is the practical draw.

What else is in the EveryGen workspace?

AI Motion Graphics makes animated films without a video model. Claude Opus 5.5 writes the animation as code, renders the frames, records narration and scores the film, so text, logos and numbers stay exact. There are 39 styles, from watercolor to 16-bit pixel art. A film needs at least 600 credits in your balance, costs 5 credits to start plus model usage, and takes about 30 to 60 minutes.

Recreate a Short (Short Clone on the pricing page) starts from a featured film or style reference with a "Make something like this" link. Viral Remix restyles a 2 to 15 second reference video with Seedance 2.0 Mini, at 19 credits for 5 seconds at 480p. Both suit the formats in our roundup of UGC marketing opportunities. A tools library adds background removal, object removal, unblur and a ByteDance video upscaler.

How much does EveryGen AI cost?

EveryGen AI sells credit plans: Lite at $19 a month for 1,000 credits, Basic at $29 for 2,000, Pro at $59 for 4,500 and Ultra at $99 for 9,000. Annual plans and the larger credit packs cost less per credit. Every paid plan includes Studio, AI Motion Graphics and Short Clone, with no watermark and a commercial license.

Pro$59/month4,500About 12 films or 22 clips324 hours, priority queue
Ultra$99/month9,000About 24 films or 45 clips612 hours, account manager

Pro and Ultra include GPT Image 2.5, GPT Image 2, Nano Banana 2 and Grok Imagine Image as unlimited under fair use, while video still costs credits. The figures come from EveryGen's pricing page on October 6, 2026.

EveryGen Compare plans table showing Lite, Basic, Pro and Ultra with plan credits, flagship image models, short videos, Seedance 2.5 clips, Studio films and concurrent generations

Annual plans and credit packs

Annual plans cost $99, $199, $299 and $499 and grant 7,000, 17,000, 30,000 and 60,000 credits upfront, valid for 365 days (monthly plan credits last 30). That is fewer credits than twelve monthly renewals, at a lower price per credit. The "save up to 26%" label compares the same number of credits at monthly rates.

Credit packs need no subscription, last 365 days and unlock Studio: 2,000 credits for $39, 3,200 for $49, 8,000 for $99, 20,000 for $199 and 50,000 for $399.

EveryGen pricing page on the Credit packs tab with 2,000 credits for $39, 3,200 credits for $49 and 8,000 credits for $99, each valid for 365 days

What a credit buys

EveryGen publishes the list rates behind its estimates. A 4-second 480p Seedance 1.5 Pro clip costs 7 credits, a 5-second 720p Seedance 2.5 clip costs 200, a 30-second Studio film is budgeted at 369, and a 1K GPT Image 2.5 image costs 2. In dollars:

How you buyPer 1,000 credits30s Studio film (369)Seedance 2.5 clip (200)
Lite, monthly$19.00$7.01$3.80
Pro, monthly$13.11$4.84$2.62
Ultra, monthly$11.00$4.06$2.20
3,200-credit pack$15.31$5.65$3.06
Ultra, annual$8.32$3.07$1.66
50,000-credit pack$7.98$2.94$1.60

EveryGen does not publish an estimate for a 180-second film. Scaling the 30-second budget in a straight line, which is my assumption and not theirs, gives about 2,200 credits, or roughly $24 on Ultra monthly. The quote before production is the number to trust. For occasional creators I would start with the $49 pack: about eight 30-second films at list rates, valid for a year.

How credits are charged and returned

  • Studio reserves credits while it works and settles against the work done, so cancelling a run can return only part of the reserve.
  • Failed generations are credited back to your balance, and the money does not return to your card. A timeout is not a failure, and resending the request can start a second paid job.
  • Purchases are final unless the law requires otherwise, and cancelling keeps the plan active until the period ends.

How does the EveryGen MCP server work?

EveryGen runs an official MCP server at https://everygen-ai.com/mcp. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT in developer mode, Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code, sign in with your EveryGen account over OAuth, and your assistant can create images, short videos, voiceovers, music and full Studio films. Every paid job starts from a quote you approve.

In Claude Code, one command adds the server, and you finish the sign-in from /mcp:

claude mcp add --transport http everygen https://everygen-ai.com/mcp

The 17 tools fall into three groups: discovery and account, quote and create, and tracking, which includes everygen_respond_to_choice for answering the director's questions. Over MCP, video uses Seedance 2.0 Mini at 4 to 15 seconds, voiceovers use Eleven v3 preset voices without cloning, and music runs up to 3 minutes.

EveryGen MCP tools section listing 17 tools in three columns: Discover and account, Quote and create, and Track and direct

Every creation starts from everygen_prepare_creation, which returns the exact credit cost in a quote that expires after 10 minutes. In EveryGen's example, a 5-second vertical 720p clip with sound comes back at 41 credits and runs only after approval. Retrying with the same quote never charges twice, so after a timeout, check the task ID before you ask again.

EveryGen MCP example where a request for a 5-second vertical video becomes an everygen_prepare_creation call and a quote of 41 credits that expires in 600 seconds

Sign-in uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, so there is no API key to leak. Access tokens last up to five minutes and refresh tokens up to 30 days, and you can revoke access under Connected apps. The server joined the official MCP registry as io.github.bytevirts/everygen on October 3, 2026. Setup steps for each client are on the EveryGen MCP page, and our list of the best MCP servers for Claude Code shows where a remote server like this fits.

Can you use EveryGen AI videos commercially?

Yes. Every paid plan includes a commercial license for outputs, subject to EveryGen's terms, the law and any restrictions from the underlying model providers. You keep the rights you already hold in your uploads and prompts. Like most AI generators, EveryGen does not promise that output is unique, copyrightable or free of third-party rights.

Uploads need permission, including consent for any face or voice you use. The terms ban sexual content, child sexual abuse material, graphic violence, hate, deepfakes, impersonation, non-consensual synthetic media and infringement. They also describe children's stories as a creator workflow, not a way for children to open accounts.

The privacy policy names where your material goes: image and video providers such as KIE and ByteDance Ark, audio providers such as ElevenLabs, and the language model behind the director. Those providers may not share EveryGen's retention or training practices, so ask support which provider a workflow uses before you upload confidential client files. EveryGen says it does not sell personal information, and card details stay with the checkout provider, Stripe.

EveryGen privacy policy section AI providers and other recipients naming KIE, ByteDance Ark, ElevenLabs and the language-model service used by AI Director

Who is EveryGen AI a good fit for?

EveryGen AI suits people who want finished short films with a consistent cast and would rather direct than edit a timeline.

  • Story channels, from children's picture-book tales to anime, that need the same faces and voices across episodes.
  • Small brands and ecommerce teams that need product ads in both 16:9 and 9:16.
  • Agencies that want many models on one bill, with commercial use on every paid plan.
  • Developers who want Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to produce media from a chat.

It fits less well for projects over three minutes, Studio's current cap, or for teams that need contractual data retention commitments from every model provider.

How to test EveryGen AI in your first week

  1. Use the free credits on one clip, then buy Lite or the $49 pack to unlock Studio.
  2. Make a 30-second film on Ask every time and compare the quote with the final settled cost.
  3. Use your own characters and product, then try one revision by marking a moment and check that the earlier version is kept.
  4. Before client work, check the model's commercial terms and which provider handles your files.

Verdict

Plenty of tools give you access to Seedance, Veo and Kling. EveryGen AI adds a director that plans the story, keeps the cast consistent, builds the sound into the film and asks before it spends. The quote-first credits, the clear confirmation modes and a documented MCP server show care for the two things that usually sour AI video work: surprise bills and lost progress.

It is a young product with little independent coverage so far, so judge quality and queue times on a project of your own. The pricing keeps that test cheap. Start a project in EveryGen Studio, brief a 30-second film, leave Ask every time on, and compare the result with the quote.

FAQ

What is EveryGen AI?

EveryGen AI is an AI video and image studio at everygen-ai.com, run by EveryGen LLC in the United States. Its main feature, EveryGen Studio, is an AI director that turns a brief or a script into a 15 to 180 second film with recurring characters, voices, music and sound. The same credits run 20+ models such as Seedance 2.5, Veo 3.1 and GPT Image 2.5.

Is EveryGen AI the same as Everygen, formerly Viewmax?

No. EveryGen AI at everygen-ai.com is run by EveryGen LLC and built around EveryGen Studio, an AI director for multi-scene films. Everygen at everygen.ai is the renamed Viewmax, a separate product from Viewmax LLC for YouTube Shorts, UGC and ads. Accounts, pricing and MCP servers are different, so check the domain before you sign up.

How much does EveryGen AI cost?

Monthly plans are Lite at $19 for 1,000 credits, Basic at $29 for 2,000, Pro at $59 for 4,500 and Ultra at $99 for 9,000. Annual plans cost $99 to $499 a year with credits granted upfront. Credit packs run from $39 for 2,000 credits to $399 for 50,000 and last 365 days. Prices were checked on October 6, 2026.

Is EveryGen AI free?

You can start free. EveryGen's pricing FAQ says the Free plan includes 10 one-time credits to try AI video, including fast text-to-video and 720p motion control, with a watermark. EveryGen Studio, AI Motion Graphics and Recreate a Short need a paid plan or a credit pack, and paid plans remove the watermark.

How long can an EveryGen Studio video be?

EveryGen Studio makes films from 15 to 180 seconds long, in 16:9 or 9:16. Put a target length in your brief, and the final duration depends on the scenes produced. Single models have their own limits, such as up to 30 seconds per Seedance 2.5 scene, and Studio assembles several shots into one film.

How many credits does an EveryGen Studio film use?

EveryGen's pricing page budgets about 369 credits for a 30-second Studio film at list rates, so Lite's 1,000 monthly credits cover about two films. The real cost depends on the media generated. Studio shows a quote before paid production and settles against the work actually done, releasing failed steps and unused reserve.

Which AI models does EveryGen AI include?

More than 20. Video models include Seedance 2.5 and 2.0, Veo 3.1 Fast and Quality, Kling 3.0 Motion Control, Kling 2.6, Wan 3, Gemini Omni, Grok Imagine Video and Runway. Image models include Nano Banana 2, GPT Image 2.5, GPT Image 2, Wan 2.7 Image Pro, Seedream 5.0 and Grok Imagine Image.

Can I use EveryGen AI videos commercially?

Yes. Every paid plan includes a commercial license, subject to EveryGen's terms, the law and any model-specific restrictions. The terms do not promise that output is unique, copyrightable or free of third-party rights, and you need permission for the faces, voices and material you upload. Free plan output carries a watermark.

Does EveryGen AI work with Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor?

Yes. EveryGen's official MCP server at everygen-ai.com/mcp works with Claude, ChatGPT in developer mode, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code. You sign in with OAuth and need no API key. The assistant shows a quote that lasts 10 minutes, and credits are spent only after you approve it.
