The short answer

As of October 2026, listing on SaaSHub is free: you enter your URL at saashub.com/services/submit, add categories and competitors, then wait for a manual approval with no published timeline. Verifying the listing with an email on your product's domain or an HTML meta tag is also free. On October 7, 2026, 29 of the 30 verified listings we opened had a followed Visit website button, while none of the 13 unverified listing pages had a followed link. The one paid option SaaSHub publishes is a featured listing at $99 a month, cancel anytime.

What SaaSHub is

SaaSHub calls itself an independent software marketplace. Every approved product gets a listing page titled "Is X good?", an alternatives page and a place in category and comparison pages. On October 7, 2026, its homepage counted 249,076 products listed and 7,429 verifications in the last 30 days.

The alternatives lists are the point of the site. SaaSHub says it collects articles that compare products or list alternatives, then ranks with a score that combines those articles and user votes. Its FAQ says nobody can buy the first position, and the About page says featured products are highlighted but never moved up the main list. To climb, its FAQ suggests sending links to independent articles that compare your product with competitors.

Reviews sit on every listing, but they are not the draw. Anyone can post one with pros, cons and the alternatives they know. SaaSHub approves reviews before they appear, and volume is low: the Semrush listing showed three reviews on October 7, 2026, the newest over two years old. The SaaSHub Weekly newsletter goes out on Thursdays to 29,700+ subscribers, by its own count.

Is SaaSHub dofollow?

Depends on verification Checked on October 7, 2026 on a live SaaSHub listing

Partly. As of October 2026, the Visit website button at the top of a SaaSHub listing is a direct, followed link (an empty rel) only when the listing is verified. On unverified listing pages the same button carries rel="nofollow", and the second button at the bottom of every listing is always nofollow.

On October 7, 2026 we opened 30 listings that SaaSHub marks as verified within the last quarter (14 from its homepage "Recently Verified" list) and 13 unverified ones (8 from "Latest Additions"). 29 of the 30 verified listings had the followed button; the exception, Learnet, carried nofollow with no reason given. Of the unverified pages, 11 used nofollow and 2 older ones (KWFinder and Yoast SEO) had a script button with no link at all. Every href went straight to the product, with no SaaSHub redirect.

Your alternatives page works differently. The top button on a product's own alternatives page was followed on 11 of the 14 we checked, verified or not. Where your product appears as an alternative on a competitor's page, the link is nofollow. Paid featured entries there carry rel="sponsored".

Two caveats, neither documented by SaaSHub. Four of the 43 listing pages (StockSimple, Settlebrook, GetSponsored.io and Pejtic) served meta robots "noindex, follow", though their alternatives pages stayed indexable. And no page marked "not verified within the last quarter" had the followed button, so answer the quarterly reconfirmation email.

SaaSHub pricing

Listing, verification and competitor tagging cost nothing; its FAQ says guest posts are free too. As of October 2026, the only paid product SaaSHub publishes is a featured listing for a flat monthly fee; its featured page says there is no pay-per-click option.

SaaSHub prices as of October 7, 2026
PlanPriceWhat you get
Free listing$0A listing page, an alternatives page and category placement after manual approval
Verification$0Green verified badge, edit access and "Recently verified" spots on the homepage, categories and competitor sidebars; renewed each quarter
Featured listing$99 a monthHomepage Featured rotation, the third "Sponsored" spot on competitors' alternatives pages, category and comparison promos, a screenshot in lists and a chance at one of two weekly newsletter slots; cancel anytime

SaaSHub estimates 15 to 29 targeted referrals a month for a featured product "as of 7 Oct 2026", and its terms say estimates are not a guarantee. The featured page says 564,000+ people visit each month, then calls the same figure page views further down. There are no in-house campaign stats, so bring your own tracking links.

How to submit to SaaSHub

A short form, then a manual approval. SaaSHub does not accept submissions by email.

  1. Check that you qualify The product must be released, in English and on its own domain. Agencies, waitlist pages and products on free subdomains are turned down.
  2. Enter your URL Go to saashub.com/services/submit and enter your product's website, or its product page on your company site.
  3. Add categories Pick a few relevant categories. SaaSHub suggests copying the ones your competitors use.
  4. List your competitors Without competitors, a submission goes to the bottom of the queue; products with more identified competitors are approved first.
  5. Verify the listing Click Verify on your listing and confirm through an email on the product's domain, or log in and add an HTML meta tag. Verified products get higher priority and, in our check, the followed button.
  6. Renew every quarter SaaSHub emails verified vendors a one-click reconfirmation each quarter. Its FAQ ties homepage spots to verifying once every three months.

Listed on SaaSHub? Give the launch a week too

SaaSHub files your product among its alternatives; SaaSCity, which we run, gives it a launch week, a permanent page and a building on our city map, on a DR 66 domain. The free route waits for one of 15 Monday slots a week and its link turns dofollow once our badge is on your homepage. Quick Pass ($19.99) skips the queue and the badge after a human review and goes live within 24 hours. It will not send SaaSHub's comparison traffic, so keep both.

What SaaSHub turns down

From its submit and promotion pages, as of October 2026.

  • Unreleased products and waitlists

Products that are not released yet are rejected immediately. A landing page with only a waitlist email form is not accepted either.

  • Free subdomains

A product hosted on a free hosting or builder subdomain, instead of its own domain, is not accepted.

  • Agencies and non-English products

Software development agencies are not listed, and neither are products that are not in English. SaaSHub accepts SaaS, IaaS and PaaS products and most other software; mobile apps need a decent website.

  • Removal at any time

SaaSHub says it can reject or remove a product even after approval, and its terms let it remove listings without giving a reason.

Is SaaSHub worth it?

Yes, for any released SaaS on its own domain, provided you verify. It costs nothing, and in our check a verified listing almost always carried a followed link straight to your site: a fair return for one form and one email confirmation.

The catch is upkeep. The followed button depends on a verification you renew every quarter, so a founder who submits once and never verifies ends up with a nofollow listing page. Approval time is unknown, and because the ranking leans on articles around the web, a new product sits low on competitors' pages until bloggers compare it. Most listings we opened had no reviews.

The $99 featured listing is a traffic buy. SaaSHub's own estimate of 15 to 29 referrals a month works out to roughly $3.40 to $6.60 a visitor, and the featured entries we saw on alternatives pages were marked rel="sponsored". Test it for one month only if your buyers already compare tools on SaaSHub.
